EDIT: Do not take what you're seeing above as unshakeable canon pertaining to Ree's eventual comic. This was done for fun, for creativity's sake, and to imagine a possibility of what might happen after the story events take place. Just a heads up!As requested by some of the folks who commented on the Lilith version ([link] ).
And yes, her hair gets darker as she ages, your eyes aren't fooling you. In her original design she had flat black hair but, as with all my concepts, they are in a constant state of flux. Least till I get them the hell out there all published-like. XD

If you look for "meme" in dA, you'll find a lot of templates for various purposes, which other people fill out with their own characters and it spreads in that way. In this case, one of the age memes is being used by Endling to provide information about his OCs. Does that make sense?

It's an 'idea' that is continually spread from person to person, as defined by Richard Dawkins in The Selfish Gene. Colloquially, it's been mutated into ideas, words, or concepts that are popularised, generally via the internet.

I understand that it would be something popular but how does it relate to art work, or people title their work or characters MEME or MMEE but not in the sense of a characters name.

Simply put, the 'meme' in this case is of showing your character at various stages in their life (5, 13, 19, 25). In other artworks it means that they're just following a template, basically.

the definition of a meme is something that becomes ridiculuosly popular on the internet, like rickrolling, lolcats, and stuff like "so i herd u liek mudkips?" and "all your base are belong to us"

Very interesting concept. I like seeing the progression of the character, even if it is preliminary work for what might actually take place in your story. I'm curious to see what changes will take place as the character actually grows. Good luck!

I absolutely love your character designs they are so awesome. Besides them always wearing awesome cloths, your writing style is one to be jealous of. You write so smoothly with such a sense of realism, your characters are really believable and I think that's what is missing most of the time from any aspect, be it novels, comics or manga styles. It's a great gift you have, with words and drawings. I applaud you. You are very smooth in both categories and everything means something. Great work all around.
