I wanted to make something for my friend =Psy-XX 's contest.
Hopefully he'll accept the entry. If you're interested, check out his page, as I think there are still a few days left for submissions.Motives for making
The main motive for making this was to focus the negative effects of pollution on the Earth and those who inhabit it. I was actually inspired by the background stock, but I did quite a bit of tweaking to make it as grim as the issue itself.
Edit: Just found out I placed third.

There's a very gritty feel to this that makes the piece work well, a clean image wouldn't have worked I don't think.

Nice and sinister. And true. The irony is that to make this art piece, you have to use a pc ultimately powered by a polluting powerplant.
