Wow... awesome! It really illustrates the season well. It somehow reminds me of Pieter Breuhgel's works... maybe that's just the era the costumes seem to come from

I was initially inspired by the Mannerism period since that's what I was looking at when I started this. I guess loosely inspired since I took what I saw and went south.
But I've never heard of Breuhgel. I'll have to look him up.

He was a painter from 16th/17th century Belgium and I think its because your subjects depicted the seasons that I thought of him: he painted these moralistic paintings where every object had its symbolic meaning. Cats meant something, pumpkins meant something... even something like a lady taking her shoes of served as a message to whoever saw the painting. I recently had this in art class and now whenever I see something that isn't supposed to be what it originally looks like I think of him
