Description
The logo that ABC (United States) uses has pretty much stayed the same for over four decades, but back during America's bicentennial year of 1976, the network decided to get colorful with it and added the hues you see here. It was rumored that the reason why was to be a comparative alternative to NBC's blue-and-red "N" logo. It must have worked--ABC was the number one network that year, airing popular shows like Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, SWAT, and Monday Night Football.
