Though I ship Jin and Asuka, I'm not biased on the prejudice that she can be something special to him, but I just noticed that fans seem to forget about Asuka's purpose and her plausible contribution to Jin's struggle against the Devil Gene. People seem to be more focused on her one-sided "rivalry" against Lili (I found it really amusing and funny at first, but now it's getting annoying and it seem to halt any character development).

Nice drawing. I like the style, and the highlight where her arm is touching him, especially.
I believe that some fans are still focused on the early implications of Jin/Asuka romance with her T5 ending and were completely repulsed by it, since they're seen as cousins. That implication probably drew a /lot/ of negative feedback to having Jin and Asuka... being... around each other. Nowadays, I'd be perfectly contented with simple family-friendship, just SOME interaction between them in the games. They're characters with a lot of potential for a heart wrenching story because of their situation with the Devil and Angel gene, whether it be romantic or not. I don't care if it's not romantic. I just want a really good storyline, now, since I haven't been too impressed by Tekken recently.
Well, Asuka got downgraded in importance, and having that rivalry doesn't enhance her or Lili at /all/, also clearly seen with the Sakura and Karin rivalry from Street Fighter. Though Lili may have otherwise been the nuisance to Jin, because of her father's company... Who knows? Maybe Harada and the team can pull out a great change... after TKxSF, though.
