I had a career in the arts in the Chicago area... my grandchildren were born there but my daughter's family has moved to Colorado. My grandson is in his second year at CU in Bolder and my granddaughter is finishing high school. I am certain you grandfather liked your photos... how would he not. You have lots of both talent and creativity... and it is the mixture of these that can open any doors that YOU want opened!!!

Good luck to both of your grandkids!! I'll be heading out to college in Arizona in July...long way to go. But I'm not a big fan of freezing rain and 14 inches of snow...so..

It is, in fact, extremely close to several zoos, a big cat rehab facility, and LOTS of local wildlife.

For once, I really wish the weather guys were wrong.

At this particular school, they let you name and create your own major (It's an EXTREMELY alternative school)- I plan on going with a double major; a combination of wildlife photography and animal studies of some kind. But it's hard to predict what the next four years will bake like.

So far, we've only gotten freezing rain today...but give it a sec. There will be giant hail and 3 more feet of snow. Charming.

That really sounds exciting... and right up your alley!!! Who cares how it may evolve but it certainly seems perfect for you now!!!!! We had freezing rain early... it turned into a blizzard about 7am... there is a lot of snow out there so we should be approaching 100 inches for the season [we set the record on Feb. 12 with 79.2 and had 12 inches on Valentines Day]!!!

Good lordy, you've definitely beaten us! We're still getting heavy rain. In fact, it's melting our snow. But as I said- supposed to be 12-15 more inches by midnight.
