Thanks! I spent a while tweaking the ambient occlusion and background light as well as the direct light. The direct lighting is from an emission sphere.

really well done... i love the idea and especially the bamboo you made... but i think the green and red colors are to strong... maybe desaturate hem a bit and add a bit yellow to the green. that would make it more peaceful, fittign the theme of the scene
