Description
So it's a version of 'Bleeding Edge' Iron Man and War Machine. I took a few liberties with the suits but hey whatever it's just a bit of fun and practice.There seems to be some discussion here about whether it's War Machine or Iron Patriot. Well according to the photos from Iron Man 3 that can be found anywhere on the internet it's War Machine. If you look closely at the armour you can see that it says US Col James Rhodes on the chest plate. There is no question that the armour with the Captain America paint job in IM3 is Rhodey's suit which makes it War Machine.
Hope that clears things up.

I'm disapointed with what they did with War Machine. I can understand if they're throwing back to Iron Patriot, but at least call it that if you're switching the suit up that much.

Haha this is awsome cause if you look at the new Iron Man Armor from Iron Man 3 it does seem like they took Bleeding Edge and toyed around with the colors! Bleeding Edge is my fav armor guess that's why I like the new movie armor so much

I think it's War Machines armour repainted to maybe reference Iron Patriot. The villain I believe is the mandarin.

You are correct scifiguy. Mandarin is the Villain and War Machine has the Captain America Style paint job. I thought this was common knowledge now since the news is weeks old but some people still seem confused.

But even though it looks like the Iron Patriot armor it IS just a repaint of the War Machine armor.
I guess the Military wanted to make War Machine look more patriotic.

im with broken eye. that's not war machine as seen in iron man 2. its the new villain iron patriot. the spider-man and iron man characters are owned by different studios. that's why Norman Osborn cant be iron patriot.

In Iron Man 3 it's War Machine. Rhodey is wearing the suit and it has his name on it.
