Been working on this off and on for a long time. Started it two years ago, took a break, and just got back to it.There's still a lot of work to do.

I don't have a tutorial and I don't really follow one anymore. I used to look at various ones and other people's art, as well as watch others paint them. My way of doing it has developed over time, plus I've had other artists give me tips on it. However, I have found a pretty good one that should help:
