This is also a copy of the original, since I pasted it on a large paper for portfolio purposes.Anyway, this is Tamora from TGS. The backgrounds' not finished, but oh well.

After all these years, I still love the gargoyle version of Tamora, and this design. I'm using her in a fanfic I'm writing... changed her story to fit in with the new (post comic book) world I'm writing in. I like it so far.

Yeah, since I'm following the comics and there is no Persian Clan, I re-introduced Tamora in TimeDancer... in a story where Brooklyn finds a lost Roman Colony in the eighth century and it pretty much plays out like "Titus Andronicus", the Shakespeare play did. She becomes a brief love interest for Brooklyn... the last time he confuses lust for deep, abiding love... Brooklyn really grows up this time. The Roman colony is destroyed, Brooklyn and Fu-Dog leave, thanks to the phoenix. Tamora is left for dead... only she's not, she's found by Duval and recruited into the Illuminati... and is thus, still around in the present day.
I changed things up a bit, or a lot. But she's still the same manipulative, ruthless, amoral, schemer. Though, unlike Demona who is like a raging fire, Tamora is more like a razor-sharp icicle. So she's in the Illuminati, her rank is Four... so she's very, very high up. And she's currently scheming, not saying what her goal is, but she is 100% dedicated to the Illuminati and their mission to "make things right". I didn't have her making the moves on Goliath this time because I felt that was too reminiscent of Demona... and I think I'm a better writer now than I was in 2000. But she and Goliath will have a big scene together... eventually. When I get there in my new series. Though she and Thailog might still end up becoming a thing.
And your design for her is one of the reasons why I had to bring her back... I don't feel bad about stealing her from TGS since she was my creation and TGS's masterplan for her never got going. But, I love the character. I love the design.
Speaking of the design, I showed this piece to a friend and they asked me if Greg Guler designed her... high praise, equigoyle.

Wow, that it is! And you have done a great redesign on her story. I kinda like it a bit better.
I have not done anything on my own fan fictions for sometime. I have not had a computer for it. I do have a tablet now but it does not do the same thing. It does not have the same storage and power and .... I just need a new computer. Badly.
I am considering rewritting my old fan fictions. They are very old now and may need updating. I do still like them.... but I may rewrite EVERYTHING. Maybe instead of wakin up in 1994...they wake up in more modern times. I am not a very good writer though, sooo.....
Anyway, yeah. That is pretty cool. I need to start doodling them again. Some day....

I think her story would have been interesting had TGS season four happened and had I stayed on.
But I prefer the comics anyway, and the new character of Shari fills a role that Tamora would have filled... more or less.

Too bad TGS did not continue... I still rather TGS than the comics, but everyone has their own tastes.^^ I admit the comics were good though.

I hate TGS... destroyed the character of Demona. Used the Goliath Chronicles version of Xanatos and made him Mr. Sappy Good Guy. John Castaway was a joke... just like in TGC. For a series that wanted to not be the Chronicles, they certainly followed the characterizations there to the letter. Oh, and they stripped the gargoyles of their own culture and turned them into Humans With Wings.
Greg Weisman knew how to handle these characters best, they are his after all.
As for Tamora, she's the property of TGS and was created for it, so knock yourself out

Iread it before. It was before I joined Deviantart. It was your points of view and I agree in a few ones. But at the end, I rather TGS. I just like it more than the comics. I do not mean to offend anyone and I'm not saying Greg Weisman didn't do a good job, but is the way I think...

Is not that anyone will prefer it. Some people rather the comics, other the Goliath chronicles and others rathered TGS. Every person has their own tastes.
But if you wish to know why I like it, I will tell you. It will take me a while to Try to find the words. Because I'm pretty sure that *because I like it* won't work.
