This is really, really cool. There need to be more spaceships in science fiction with an oblong, oval, spheroid, or diamond shape. It's simple, elegant, and practical in one easy package.

It's a really cool ship -- it reminds me of some Cold War spacecraft I've seen, and it's very different from most warships I've seen on DA.

is this from some Scifi universe or your own custom work?

cool design, yet very realistic
At first it reminded me of those old Orion Project the USA had, back in the Space Run years, that was a very very big spacecraft, roughly with that shape, carrying nuclear warheads and machineguns (for orbital fights i gueess?) and powered with... other fission bombs made detonate behind the ship's butt xD
Luckily JFK saw the blue prints, did this face www.mentelocale.it/images/arti⦠and blocked the project xD

Shes certainly a change to the "more guns than a porcupine has pricks" model. Nicely thoughtout indeed

This is amongst the best spaceship designs i've ever seen, the simple, compact and sturdy-looking shape, the weapon coverage, the armored hull... perfect

Very nice work , she has such structure that narrows the scifi theme and todays tech level nicely .

This looks like a really good design. I love the attention to detail with the inclusion of RCS thrusters and radiators. I wouldn't be surprised if similar ships partake in real space combat one day.
What are the two retractable arms for?

That's habitable modules, can be retracted in battle

This really is some of the finest SF spacecraft design I've seen, from the unique but plausible shapes to the folding radiator panels. Inspiring work!

Very neat. I love all the little details too numerous to mention. And adding specs always makes me smile.

Are those armored radiators.
Did you actually remember to put radiators on a combat starship.
You are awesome.

Great design! what are the foldout arms for? Propulsion? Heat dissipation?

Probably side-orientated radar/lidar/gravimetric/other sensors array
