Some texturing would make the skin more "alive", however since this is about your 3d skin (if I'm not mistaking) , I think you managed to make a skin that has much in it. Wish my skins looked liked that in the beginning .

Know, what's your mistake, man?
You use too much bevel effects. People are too tired from them. I tried using them in my skins once, but don't do it anymore... There are more interesting layer effects. Besides, why not to do the skin flat?
