This was one of the fanarts that took me a pretty long time to complete.
Considering the country Vesa came from in the Forgotten Land was inspired by Albania, I wanted to draw her in an Albanian folk costume. Alas, I picked a xhubleta to design for her.
But I didn't want to just draw Vesa in an Albanian folk costume, I wanted to illustrate a future event for my Kirby fanfic, so I decided on one where Vesa, Elfilin and Kirby's animal friends carry out a ritual that empowers the ancient flowers in Vesa's country to force Dark Matter out of the Dreamstalk after it infected it. This ritual in question is reminiscent of a plot point in Vesa's childhood bedtime story.
