I started this with a yin yang design guidline, with positive and negative attributes as well as flow and design, it's not turning out well, I think I'll take the concept and start overany C&C would be appreciated, and thanks for stopping by.

I think you're on the right track. Your composition and character design are great. You just need to ink it. The background could be one hue and the girl and her weapon could be another - creating a yin yang out of coloring.
