Pretty cool idea. I agree with Alexus on the noise thing. Also I would have played with the dodge/burn tool a bit to bring out different parts of the two images. Not bad though! Keep it up!

you've done an exceptionally well job in combining these images, except for the noise. everything about the image conveys a unified sense of ambience, and the noise seems to take away from that.
