Great use of symbolism. Masks have a heavy connotation with mystery and hidden things and mixed with the scene of an empty beach, it makes for a very surreal image. I love thematic images like this.

This makes me think of a book series I read. Kushiel's Legacy. I'm not really sure why, but it brought it to mind. That's a good thing though. Maybe it was because the picture seems so brooding. I could give a long explanation of why it brought that particular thing to mind, but I won't. It's a lovely picture though. +fav. I really adore this.
