5 years ago today I drew and uploaded my first first TG sequence. For the occasion I've now completely redrawn and added shading to that same sequence. I didn't trace it I just looked at the original and copied it, and along the way doing some small alterations.I hope you enjoy this blast from the past and thank you all for your support.
I've changed up the dress some, it's now much fuller and floor length.

Question: do you do what most artists do and draw the body--or in this case body part: legs--and then draw the clothing on top? Then erase what's under the clothing? I do that.

Most of the time, for something like this I just drew the torso and then estimated where the feet would be since I knew you wouldn't be able to see them.

So you're saying you don't draw the naked body or bodypart, then the clothes, then erase the parts that don't press against the items of clothing? For me, I have to know what's there, although I try to use a light hand...but for me, that's hard to do, to not bear down.

No I said I do most of the time, the only time I don't is when I'm drawing the big dress because not only would they be erased, but the fabric wouldn't be resting on the legs anyway.
A good way to train yourself to use a lighter hard is try drawing something in ball point pen. It's completely unforgiving if you make a mistake, or your under drawing is to dark, but I find it helps. Give it a shot sometime.
You can also get non-photo blue pencils that won't show up if you scan them for your underdrawing.
