Masked: Soul Dancers, keepers and protectors of life, carrier of souls. They are invisible to the human eye for they are spirits from a realm very close and yet parted from our physical reality, moving like wind and shadows over the lands. Sometime you can catch a glimps of them, like a sudden shudder over a still lake, a flicker of light in the dark of the forest, a warm breeze in the middle of winter. They are always there, watching, waiting - for seasons to change, years to pass and souls to depart.
When someone in much pain and/or distress leaves our world a Soul Dancer welcome the soul into their realm and gather it up in its cage of energy. The soul then go to slumber in a cocoon of light, healing as time pass by, and when the time is right it hatch into a beautiful butterfly - ready to fly off to get reborn once more. And so the never ending circle of life continues, now as always, for all of eternity.

MADE:
The Soul Dancer is completely handmade, original and ooak (one of a kind). Her head, antlers and legs are sculpted and painted with lots of care, time and detail, and lastly sealed. The cage with the butterfly hanging from the antlers is also completely handmade, swing if you move her and can be removed. Her body is made of color shifting and sparkling sequin fabric and the softest fauxfur that Ive designed and trimmed and her tail and mane is made out of ostrich feathers. The Soul Dancer is posable in legs, tail and neck but I actually advice from moving her to much. Sequin fabric have a tendency to get handprints and peel a little around the edges, so Id say she is more of a beutiful sculpture than a posable artdoll, however as I said, she can be posed. The Soul Dancer is a truly unique artdoll, one of the biggest Ive made and I will never make another like her.
SIZE: She stand a wooping 50cm (19.7 inches) tall and 35cm (13.8 inches) long.
