I've NEVER done such a piece on photoshop because I suck at photoshop, but I figured out if I was patient enough, I could do it. I used probably five or six hours, which is very unlike me to spend on one drawing, but I was patient and made it. And boy, how proud I am of this one!
As mentioned in the scrap one (espnb.deviantart.com/art/The-S… ), my inspiration is for his twisted caricatures, which I wanted to try out.

This band shouldn't need further presentation because they are the Stone Roses, my favourite band. If you haven't listened to them; do it. NOW!

Compared with the sketch there's much more depth now, although the sketched faces were very good allready. The "flatness" of the bodies in the sketch derives from the hatching I would say. Hatching can make every drawn form very flat, if the lines are just staight and don't "follow" the body depicted. (Is that comprehensibly verbalised?)
Congratulations for the good start with photoshop. Do you work with a graphic tablet and pen or with a mouse? Either way it's quite some work to get used to it. But it clearly opens new possibilities!

I have no graphics tablet and pen, so I used only the computer mouse to draw this. And it sure opens new possibilities!
