Description
Another photo Manipulation, this took alot longer than the last but isn't exactly perfect. Its inspiration is from ideas of cyborgs and flesh and machines integrated together. Obviously taken on a much more morbid level. I hope it isn;t too obvious that I'm new to this whole Morbid Photo manipulation thing. First of all, a detail, this is way too big. Try 1024px width so people can have a nice full view of it and then if you like, post a detail somewhere.
I like the idea of the guy being sort of like a graffitied wall... but if this was your idea, and not only my interpretation, maybe you could have hued him to be the same color of the wall heβs standing in front of.
I like some of the rough textures you applied on the body and the holes are good too, but most of the machine-like-gadgets and scars are very un-realistic. I recon this is mostly due to the colors you used. When people look at this kind of things they will usually use the most recognizable object as a reference for all the rest. In this case, the reference is the guys body. So, if the guys body is so yellow, its because some kind of yellow light is hitting on him, and if there is yellow lighting, there canβt be pure white thingsβ¦ do you see what I mean? You should try to respect the lighting scheme you set.

the little tube thing poping out doesnt fit with the rest its a very different style and so its distracting...the piece has an interesting flow...but it stops half way....because there isnt much on the bottom to see....i would crop it off at the guys waist maybe...i like the textures and the colors you used and overal its a nice piece just with a couple problems

My GOSH! This is beautiful, a complex piece of artwork. I'm not the best criticiser of art, but I damn well know good art when I see it. And I know that I don't have the best trained eye, but at least I have an eye that can recognize exceptional work. It's different, it's unique, and this fits my category more than I can ever imagine

I envy your ability to do this kind of manip. I have tried and I have never been able to pull it off. Nice burn work on it - makes it pop - and the tattoos are nice nice nice...

I like the tribal tattoos on his back and I like that he is bad. However I think the outlets could have been done better. He is so 3d and the outlets are really 2d. Anyway I think it is too matrix for me. I do however like the color selection and the claw. That was a nice touch. And I like the tube comming out of him but the entry and exit wounds could have been put out better.
