Nayeli's legs kicked and soft whimpers rising up in her throat, she was dreaming, from a distance one would think she was having a nightmare. In a way she was... She couldn't shake the thought from her mind of when she struck her mother out of anger, she felt awful and somehow wanted to apologize, to make Tadita happy... like she was supposed too...
"Don't leave me mommy, please!" Nayeli sobbed, laying on the ground in front of her mother, she was scared and heartbroken at the thought.
"Im sorry baby, but mommy is sick, I can't care for you, I'm going to be leaving you with a friend who will take better care of you..." Tadita whimpered, nuzzling her daughter's head, she didn't want to leave her, but she was too weak, having lost a lot of weight from growing ill as well as suckling the growing pup. "Im so sorry... but it's better this way... you'll be safer without me..." the tawny female could barely hold back her emotions as she spoke. But she had to do this...

Tadi looks more angry than distressed, I would've softened her brow/changed the positioning of her eyelid and maybe had some tears in her eyes to really exhibit her sadness o0o besides that this is a fantastic redraw and you've really grown so much since then!!
