My application for the End Run OCT. It's kind of an awesome OCT and I'm looking forward to seeing what people come up with/ do with it. And hopefully participating.

Personality:
Pessimistic, introverted, cynical, polite, and patient. Avery is a quiet and very down to earth kind guy who has resigned himself to an uneventful life.

Backstory:
In his hometown, he spent most of his time working in the garden or reading (non-fiction of course). He was working his way to a degree in accounting; He does not much fancy this career path, but feels would at least be stable.

Avery doesn't want to go to war. He does not want to fight. But his country needs him, so he figures, and he will do his part. Because that's at least the right thing to do... right?

History/Family:
Mister Walter Strivers is a hard veteran of the great war. From as long as Avery can remember, his father put pressure on him to succeed, and to be his best. Avery never grew up to be the tough masculine man his father was hoping for, but he never blatantly said that he was disappointed. Walter says that he has never been so proud as when Avery volunteered for the Navy.

Misses Walter Eleanor Strivers was always complacent. She was a good housewife. A decent cook, a pretty good cleaner, and a very acceptable mother. She loves her children very much, and while not being very touchy feely with them, she always cut the crusts off their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Miss Caroline Strivers, the elder child, was a breath of fresh air to the Strivers' household. She was outgoing an adventurous. She is beautiful with spirited eyes and a thin waistline. It's no surprise Robert Franks fell for her. And she soon fell for him as well. They were to be married on the summer solstice. But duty came, and Robert went off to war, only a few months earlier than Avery. So they put their wedding on hold, until his return. 2 months after Avery left, Caroline got news that Robert would not be coming back. Ever.

Gender: Genderless, but Avery thinks of it as female. (probably do to Ovid's sassy attitude)

Personality:
Patient, observant, wry, and a bit selfish. Ovid is very close to the opposite of Avery.

About:
When Avery first met Ovid, the first thing she did was transform into her new trainer, and punch him in the face. She has since, continuously shown Avery that she is stronger than he, and will not be his slave. However, she will work with him... she looks forward to a chance to challenge herself.

Often, she takes Avery's form allowing her to communicate using human language. It creeps Avery out to no end... making it an even more appealing form.

Avery isn't sure how Ovid got the monocle... but he has a theory involving a lost human in the long grass where Ovid once lived. It was more likely just something she found on the ground and decided to keep though.

Frogman
Species: Seel
Nature: Brave
Ability: Hydration
Gender: Male

Personality
Playful, naive, loyal, and slobbery, Frogman is essentially an obese puppy, and lightens the mood for the otherwise down to earth team.

About
Frogman the Navy Seel. Often shortened to "Frog". Although physically a young adult, Frog's mind is still that of a pup. He likes to play with anything, and he likes to chew on things and getting his slobber all over them. This is usually Avery's hand.

Frog is the brawn to Ovid's brain. He also makes a nice pillow.
