This is based on the best foster brother I ever had. From when I was almost 10 until I was almost 12, I lived on a ranch - his parents were my foster parents. They were the only ones that didn't treat me like a potential criminal just because my mom was in state prison.

Junior taught me to ride a horse, corral Brahma cattle, and clean a stable, all without ever making me feel stupid. I haven't seen him in 5 years, but I hope he followed his dream from the youth rodeo stuff I saw and into the professional arena the way he wanted.
