Where lucidity yields to shadows, and light wanes against tangible dusk...Will this be eternity?

Just lil' old me - experimenting with the camera again. I just set the exposure value to its lowest, then I held the camera near an exposed bulb and voila... I didn't take it in B&W, though it may seem that way...
I tweaked it slightly in Photoshop just to give it a little extra push. (Decreased the brightness, then increased the contrast a little.)

I didn't understand one word of the mambo-jambo photo technique you wrote in the description ... but I've never seen any like this !
