Description
Phillip II is depicted being injured by an arrow. Despite his mother's direct instructions not to, Phillip II went out to play with his friends. During play, he was shot in the eye by one of his companions. Fearing repercussions and Phillip's mother's reputation, his friends abandoned their injured king, who was later found wandering and crying. Following his recovery, he was grounded for two months.
