This is a great piece btw! Can I ask how you get your brushes to be so sharply textured? How are your brush settings?

Thanks! I would recommend setting some time aside to specifically finding out what the settings in the brushes do. Once you have a good idea what effects all those sliders and tickboxes have on a stroke it will be easy to make a brush that does what you want.Β

Which part of the picture do you mean exactly?

Specifically the lighter part of the background behind the character and also the right side of the jacket. It's a sharp brush but clearly has a texture on it. I can't manage to combine those in this way.
