Ahkay, I saw this idea of a WIP deviation and I couldn't help it. :I Stolen from . Basically, I'll keep this updated with whatever I happen to be working on so y'all can see that I'm actually doing things.
It is exciting yesno? Feel free to pitch in comments and whatnot.-----------------
So this is coyotetomo and he is running and it is EXCITING yes. blah I hate writing comments on things. :'D The sketch came from a scanned doodle I made, and the rest of it is done completely in MS Paint with a mouse. C: I'm practicing fur effects, yay. Download for full.
I'm going to fix the tail at some point (the way it's attached bothers me :I) and I'll make the fur of the neck blend more smoothly into the shoulder soon, no worries. I only just started the shoulder today so it's not finished. I'll fix it up. C: Same with the ears, I'm still messing with them, so no worries about their unfinished ickyness right now, haha.

Well i'm not much of an artist... but if you could somehow put more detail to the tongue or shade it I don't know it might look better.

Suggestions: I dunno how much of this you're still working on. XD But I'd reccomend fading the eye in a little more, or darkening the area around it a bit more, as well as around the lips and nose. :3 Kind of like fading black? Like um... when some lighter-colored dogs have the black fading from right below the nose? If I'm making any sense... xD
And I like the tail AND the way the fur is against the shoulder. :3 It looks very sharp, showing how the fur overlaps the shoulder.

Ooh, very good points. xD I think I meant to do that on some point (also to shade the lips/eye a little to give them some more depth) but thanks for reminding me, it needs to be done. xD The next time I get bored of scribbling I'll do some fine detailing. 
And aha, I just think the tail attaches a little further up the back than it needs to, if I keep in mind where the spine is. So I'll just be moving where it attaches down a bit. xD And I do like the sharpness of the neck fur onto the shoulder, but I still feel it would be better to smooth the transition just a little bit. I still want it to be clear that the neck fur is sort of separate, just not overwhelmingly so, y'know?
