Description
The NSEA-Protector, NTE-3120 is an Evolution class Heavy Cruiser that serves as the flagship for the NSEA. It is commanded by Peter Quincy Taggart, and is Earth's most powerful interstellar spacecraft.The ship is equipped with a state of the art quantum flux drive, the protector is capable of sustained speeds in excess of mark 15, and sprints of up to mark 20. It is known to make use of two methods of transportation for personnel to and from the ship, the surface pods and the digital conveyer.

Oh man i just noticed that the main hull of the Protector looks amazingly similar to the Constitution class engineering hull, at least from this angle. I never noticed this .

Galaxy Quest was a pure Star Trek parody, so im pretty sure the designers use the Enterprise as base for the overall look.

There should have been a 2nd Galaxy Quest. The success of The Orville shows how badly the ball was dropped with Galaxy Quest.

If i remembered it right, there was planned a Galaxy Quest TV Show. But i dont know what happend to it. Last thing i heard, they had behind the scenes troubles with the producer vs the studio. The production was paused. That was last year.
