This is complicated for me. I LOVE them both. The different backgrounds evoke different emotions. In the darker of the two, his crouch seems to tell a story of innocence following and observing - yearning to learn from worldly teachers. This version seems to speak of almost a meditative or spiritual experience. Both are journeys, but one shows a journey of carnal desire while the other a journey of a spiritual desire...

Thanks for your thoughts. Im surprised no one has commented on the unusually intimate view of the model .. the contrast between his humanity and the spiritual is where i will go i think x

At first, that was all I noticed - and I wasn't mad about it...lol But, with my mind removed swiftly from the gutter, my normal brain took over and all I could see was that the stance/position seemed to tell more of the story and the fact that he was nude faded. These, in my opinion, are the best types of photo - one that leaves you with an amazing idea of a MUCH larger story yet has it's beginning, middle, and end. It was a masterful use of your art to be sure.
