Fan art for 's Periodically Insane project.Yeeeaaaah I finally drew a comic for you! Sorry it took so long.
It's ridiculous and frolicking as my usual style, because I want to make fun of Gold's metrosexuality, shininess, and uselessness at the same time. (You have to imagine it in the Spongebob Squarepants Movie style ) I AM NOT SORRY. XDDDD
Panel 3 is just a random crowd. There's no particular reason why those three were there.
Some characters look different because the outline was based on older designs.

Au was actually the one character that I think I didn't do him justice. I can make many characters look cute but only if they look more like everyday people. I really suck when the characters are supposed to be unbelievably beautiful or superstar-level gorgeous. Is that weird?
Aren't the elements in the third panel supposed to be fangirling/fanboying instead? They look like they've seen a ghost, though it's funnier this way. XD

I totally see what you mean tbh, I have trouble drawing Gold myself. One thing to say someone is pretty, and another thing entirely to actually draw them... 
and I like how everyone looks shocked in the third panel. It's like, the opposite of what Au probably intended. xD
Really, Germanium over there would be more likely to swoon over Silver anyway super 'secretly' though aha shush

I thought it's also a matter of style? Some people seem to be very used to drawing beautiful, glamorous characters (at least conventionally), although many can fall into the pitfall that all of their drawings look similar. I've also been told that my characters don't look cute or pretty. (But that person is an anime fan so I guess he is biased.)
Ohh, Ge is just temporarily almost flashed to blindness by Au. Don't worry, he'll very soon turn all his attention to Ag.

Oh yeah, it's definitely a style thing too. I do find your characters cute (and mine in your style), but then, I prefer cartoony styles than the more 'anime' type in general, since there tends to be more face and body type variety. And I'm all about that in character design xD

Me too, in turns of the styled I like. I grew up in Taiwan so everything on the TV and everything people want to ever draw is anime. Gradually I felt tired of it and began to appreciate Ameican cartoons more.
In turns of body types, I admit that my characters don't vary that much, but most psychoactive drugs (esp. opioids and stimulants) tend to make people waste away physically and become so skinny!
