I always drew backgrounds but I wasn't always this patient, when I started they were pretty simple
well you can look at my 2014 art and the bgs I did back then were pretty lazy hh

I take so much calm joy in seeing this here ; v; I've been trying to build out a "walking around town" similar to this and it very much fuels my motivation! The background is so on point, props to you for not shying around from backgrounds lol it's something a lot of artists refrain from. The colors and shading is gorgeous and this all together has a lovely vibe to it.
