It's sort of like Kenny from South Park - everyone likes him but he gets killed every episode.Β At least until season 6, where the joke got old and he died for an entire season before they brung him back.
But right now, it's seen more as a joke when Jolteon gets hurt not like karma or something. If it was seriously ANY other character Umbreon wouldn't have kicked them.

Normally, your right. But this is more or less a ComicΒ joke/gimmickΒ to me. On theother Hand the Comic constantly Plays with the thought that Speedy (his Name right?) gets all the chicks (excluding Vapo and especiallyΒ Eevee... bah!). It is entertaining and ment to be that way I think. Still, I consider your Point right! You easely could make a Comic as entertaining as this with this idea too, but then i think it would lose some lightness. I hope youΒ get what I mean.
