A few of those would have gone into my pocket to add to my other pretty stones I can't resist picking up
The stones here in Brittany in France are nice colours too

Hi Eva, Sorry I haven't commented in a while (very busy). This is such an interesting shot, and there is so much colour. If this was hung on the wall it would make a great focal point for the room. This has to be a definate

I always loved to see all the cool looking rocks I can find when I would go to the beach when I was a kid.
Nice shot Eva!

So now, Doctor, please give me your scientific view of what these rocks are, and how they managed to collect themselves into this little nest.
There must be forty varieties of rock here, and they have arranged themselves into a perfect bouquet.
...and it is in the humble opinion of this narrator that this is not just "Something That Happened." This cannot be "One of those things..." This, please, cannot be that. And for what I would like to say, I can't. This Was Not Just A Matter Of Chance.

If you look at this link and the links listed with this picture, you can see how this beach was tranformed on a daily basis. [link]
Also, at the tip of Cape Breton and on the shores within the National Park, rocks the size of my fist, collect then disappear. Definately not a place for swimming! There is high energy wave action here (as explained by Brian, my son, Mr. National Ocean Science Bowl Winner 2006 LSHS)).

Humbling, isn't it, to see the true Master wield his brush onto His magnificent canvas?

Are you trying to pass this off as something you found? Surely you have done some creative editing here, Doctor! Go ahead. Tell me I'm wrong!

This WAS on the beach in Inverness in an area where the tide comes and goes. The features on this beach changed everyday because of tides, rough waves, and wind.

So, this is as you found it? Remarkable! Just goes to show who the real Master is, I guess! How thoughtful for the Creator to create such a scene for your "little camera."
I'll take you at your word, and congratulate you for your success in applying the most basic photographic technique of all, the decisive moment.

The rocks all over Nova Scotia were so colorful. Also took some macro shots of sea glass (from broken bottles) when I was there. [link] Another rock picture - [link]
