You still shouldn't go up and tell somebody that. Lie if you need to but don't let them believe that their work is "lame" because that may cause them to give up on what their good at. I support you! He gives people bad opinions because like he has one! He just feels "bored" and he feel like commenting on this artist saying his picture is lame, now that could happen to someone for something they are good at, to give up! And that is not fair, because they work hard on that picture, and this one person just comes and mess it up with one word... Words can affect people's actions.
