Hm now that I think about it I realized it's kind of hard to go in-depth with all this though because of how little coverage we got of the Gramarye love triangle u~u We also don't know anything about 7 years ago Thalassa's personality..

First off, I think Valant's the kind of person to be all brash and confident most of the time but when it comes to matters of the heart he's really thoughtful and sentimental. uwu" Realistically, I think that for Valant, Thalassa was seen as kind of "off-limits" because Magnifi obviously would have preferred Zak for his daughter.

Valant probably still tried to make advances because he couldn't help himself even though they were probably not so great because he honestly had no idea what to do haha Not to mention that Zak would have attempted to out-do him in any way possible.

But but I think that Valant and Thalassa were on good terms and were friendly and got to have their cute moments and maybe even shared a few kisses uwu"

Also, I have this headcanon that Thalassa gave Valant his staff as a good-bye present when she first left the Troupe..which means he's still carrying it around 7 years later akjshnd

Yeah, I wish they'd expanded on it more, as well - the Gramarye's seemed really interesting ;-;

Aww, and your reasonings sound so awesome! I couldn't really think up any situations, etc. for it like that, I just thought it sounded cute x3 But you make it sound like it could be believable ~ Omg and that staff-giving idea is so adorable I can't even >w<
