Description Locks, locks, everywhere, and not a latch to fasten.

These are all padlocks and combination locks I’ve collected within my 4 years of high school. Consequently these are all mostly FROM my high school. You can plainly see locker combination locks, and above those all are the huge industrial strength locks used to close off fence gates and storage lockers. I managed to sneak those two big ones at the top (along with the two smaller ones with chains attached to them) from the gate closing off our track field when the PE Teacher wasn't looking. The nice big gold one was on a baseball field storage locker. You might not be able to see, but it's a 4 digit combination lock. Whoever locked it made the grave mistake of keeping the code as 0 0 0 0. Ha ha. Those two odd round ones beside the biggest ones are padlocks used to close a panel on soda vending machines that open to reveal the keyhole to open the door. The very bottom two rows are all closed locker combination locks, the open ones are the two rows above that. The 3rd two row set are all padlocks taken off of things from lockers to fuse box doors (janitors are very careless ). The very very top one is a simple bicycle lock and rope combination that I just found lying on the ground in the cafeteria. Odd. The odd bunch at the bottom consist of small random out of place locks, some being ones I own and didn't 'lift'. I still count them in my collection though. One really interesting one is a lock used to keep glass trophy cabinets closed. Don’t remember how I got that one. Heh.

I swear, I must have a fetish or something. Normally I just like picking up bolts and screws I find on the ground (for some reason I think I’ll be able to use them later somehow), but after a while, my end of the year locker raiding (taking locker separators, mugs and other useful things from open lockers or garbage cans at the end of the year when everyone is tossing out all their junk), mixed with my minor kleptomania, and the idea of how funny it would be to just start swiping locks, has driven me to collect these 81 locks.

Big thanks to my sister who snagged a lot of the open combination locks you see in the 3-4th rows from the girls’ locker room.

End of the year is coming up. I'm hoping to top this collection of to at least 100. But that's wishful thinking I think.

Have you learned how to pick (at least rake) yet? It could help boost your collection.

Do you know the combinations to the Master locks, if not give me the serial # from each of them and I might be able to get them for you.
