Description
Casper is a handsome long-haired brown and white tabby cat who was brought to the animal hospital over the summer because his owner wanted to euthanize him, as he was peeing in the house and she had tried many methods to cure it but to no avail. The vets refused to put him to sleep so the owners surrendered him instead. He has been using his litterbox as well as he can in a cage since he has been there so he is believed to be ready for adoption now! He is a large cat and needs more space than just a cage in an animal hospital where he occasionally gets to spend nights in the surgery room. He is nice and can be a bit testy at times, but I believe this to be him becoming over stimulated in the environment he's in. I feel that in a home environment he would be even friendlier.Casper is with 911 Dog & Cat Rescue

Edit - Casper's foster parents, who also had him as a kitten before he was previously adopted out, are keeping him.

This is just wonderful!
A beautiful cat and really great info., too!
I do not recall if you are already a member of #Unframed-Nature
off the top of my head... but in addition to a few other changes for 2013, we
have included a new folder called:
"Animal Adoptions at Humane Societies" [link]
and it will run every three months, and therefore quarterly, animals in this folder will be featured, with informational text to spread awareness about Adopting Animals in general.
Whether you are a Member or not, though I'd love it if you were,
I would like to request a few works from you, as these such works of yours, DO fit the rules for this folder.
Thank you!

He's like Marley minus the fat. Like he gets THAT kind of attitude but he cares a lot less about food so he's better. I also think if he were in a more stable homely setting he would be less like cranky Marley, but who knows.
