Description Luke is another pitbull at work/the rescue I work with (911 Dog Rescue) that needs a home. He is much more mild than Ace and always does a little happy dance when you walk over. He has been adopted out before but they returned him because he apparently played too roughly with their boston terrier.
I love this boy, but he is very hard to photograph! Always has his ears back instead of alert.
I think he's absolutely gorgeous though!

this is a great photo, he is very handsome wearing the bandana around his neck, he is such a beautiful dog! sad that his adopted owners returned him although then i guess its better than something else ending up happening to him later down the track. he looks like a great friendly dog.

Thank you!
I agree, I'm glad they returned him if it wasn't working for them. He's with a foster now at least so he's not sitting in a cage/run all day.

I would love to foster but I live a state away from home at school for most of the year. My dad isn't too fond of bringing more animals into the house anyway. We used to foster cats and just keep them in my room away from our other cats but the last cat we got we ended up having for 2 years so we just decided to adopt her.

oh thats fascinating, we adopted a kitten from a shelter.. but unfortunately he ended up getting really ill (which sadly i think was from being in a shelter from such a young age). he was only 8 weeks and he developed the FIP (dry) virus.. which took over his body and sadly we had to put him down because their was no cure.. it really sucked we hand fed him with a siringe for a weekend but we decided we should just put him out of misery. i still wish he was around wonder what sort of a cat he would have been like, its really weird though we gave him a home and lots of love for like two weeks ( we spent so much money trying to make him better too which he wouldn't have known) but the night he got really worse he some how found a way to climb up onto our bed and slept all night between me and my partner.. even though the next morning he could hardly walk. sorry for the sad story i just thought i would share it and got a bit carried away .. shelter animals are usually the best because they have so much love to give..

I don't mind the sad story at all, I know a number of them myself. I'm sorry for your loss. Losing them when they are so young and after you've tried so hard and spent all that money is hard.
But I have to agree, shelter animals generally do have a lot of love to give!

Haha! Love those too.
Luke's is like he's dancing in place, rocking back and forth and lifting his feet up one at a time.
