Alrighty guys, I just wanted to let ya'll know something (mainly because this is something that affects me personally and will have a major impact on my life coming soon. You see, I have scoliosis, have had it for a long time now, and will be getting surgery for it soon.

Now when I say soon, what I really mean is this upcoming summer - so it's not happening too soon...but I still want to let you guys know. Now, I'm not overly scared or anything, I DO know the risks for it and the pain that'll accompany it. Worst case scenario: paralyzation, best case scenario: I walk away from it after a grand total of 6 weeks of rehabilitation.

Now, (unfortunately), the details of this operation are that it will last for roughly 6 hrs through which they will placing rods in my spine. These rods will be tightened further so as to literally pull my spine back to a decently straightened position. The whole reason I'm getting this is because my spine curvature is so severe-and- (more concernedly)- has been worsening even as I've stopped growing.

Now, I'm letting you guys know this not solely for sympathy - but also just so that I might have your prayers. Thank you.

((And yes, that is me there in a hospital garb getting my x-rays taken. Even the spine curvature and the way it appears are as exact as I could make it regarding my x-ray photos.))
