Description
One of my first non-nature related photo projects. Four of my friends agreed to model for me, and I drew "tattoos" on their backs with permanent marker, images, I hoped, that would represent four sets of wings. I tried to view the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as Fallen Angels -- Death, War, Famine and Pestilence. These images were the result. Unfortunately, I didn't get nearly as many pictures as I intended, seeing as most of my models were half drunk when they showed up. Thanks, guys. There were two different shoots, with two slightly different back designs; the second shoot was far better. I understand that the images would have likely looked better without the jeans, but I couldn't quite ask them to take them off. This model was supposed to represent the horseman of famine, the carrier of scales. This was also a first design, and it was definitely an experiment. I hope to post pictures of the finished design later.
Taken with SLR mentioned in "tools of the trade" with Ilford Pan F +, hand developed in Zonal Pro and printed on Forte Warmtone Fiber Paper.
