very mysterious... i like it. one suggestion: you might consider using a regular 2d imaging app to burn/dodge/saturate portions of the image. you might get some cool effects with a little subtle lighting too.

Hmmm.. it does not look like a iris.. If you look close to your iris you see that it has lines that r directed to the center of your pupil...
although it still looks wicked cool..
