Kicking back into my deviantart roots, hm? Took me long enough. Despite My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic having ended earlier in the year, the idea of revamping my Next Gen has been ever strong within my mind. And seeing as I've finally found an art style I'm happy with, I figured I'd try making a lil' pone before the end of the day.

So here we have the 'main character' of this series, Supernova. The son of Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer. And yes, he is in fact an Earth Pony. Turns out the mixture of powerful Alicorn genetics isn't something a foal's body can handle too well, thus leading for this fellow to be born with neither wings or horn, which in turn has changed him into a rather sour pony. Having such famous and well known parents, with many adventures underneath their belts, it placed a lot of expectations from the public for him to do the same, anxiety and stress turning into anger throughout his teenage years.

However, Superova seems to retain some form of a unicorn's psychic abilities through his talent, mind reading. There's no explanation that can be given as of yet that explains his abilties, but it's what Supernova uses for his income (despite charging ridiculously large prices for the simplest and bland answers you could be given.) He's extremely introverted, and would rather spend the day inside than go out and make the friends his mothers highly encourage him to do so.
