Hmmm... that's a good question. Celestia is sort of a godess for the ponies but perhaps there is another Alicorn in charge for the souls of the dead ponies.

She sure have to, not just a goddess on Earth, but hopefully heaven. I can imagine once the souls are up there, Celestia has no problem seeing the souls of her old proteges and their friends.
