You always know when winter is coming,
The days get shorter as the nights gets longer,
The weather gets colder the skies become clearer,
What was once a pleasent walk home in the sun
Is now a cold struggle through the night.
You retreat to the warmth of your home,
The heating goes on and you wrap yourself up,
No longer feeling the cold grip of outside.
There are still some out there in the night,
Animals have no central heating or blanket
But they surviv, out there, we couldn't.
We rely on our modern technology,
On our way of life in this cruel world.
Our nature is to reach to the stars,
Climb the highest peak around,
Push yourself beyond our boundries,
To learn more to enhance our life.
Sadly these have downsides that destroy life.
We destroy our enviroment to move our boundries,
We create weapons designed to kill and maim.
We live in a society that no longer cares.
No one looks out for their fellow man.
We should look to our penguin brethren,
They group together to stay alive,
To survive this world we need to work together,
we all need to love one another.
