Description
A reimagining of Sonic the Hedgehog as a film concept, mixing elements of the games and various incarnations, but mostly serving as a reboot of the SatAM / Archie Comic universe. In recent years, Sonic has become a bit of an empty mascot for a once great gaming company. The games have lost their charm and Sonic Boom is just as soulless, and right now, the comics have given Sonic and friends some depth as characters. This film concept combines a more darker premise for Sonic, inspired by SatAM's storyline, but maintains the heart and comedy of the cartoons.Related content

Sometimes western animation is good. Have you seen Sonic Mania Adventures? It wasn't all anime, but it sorta like that. We call it amerime, and that to me is really unique.

I would like a reboot using the satam/archie storyline and come to think of it a satam storyline could make a neat star wars style film trilogy (fitting since satam is somewhat inspired by star wars). it could be the animated equivalent of star wars just on one planet (assuming that your concept is animated).

Great re-imagining that takes the best from comics and the cartoons! I've seen people make the argument that a Sonic story that takes itself seriously can never work. It can work, it's just that the writers at Sega are competent enough to do it.
I had my doubts at the thought of seeing Dulcy, but your idea uses her really well, along with Antoine.

Personally, I'd either keep Mike Pollock as Dr. Robotnik, or cast Jim Cummings, but Perlman would be a grand idea.

Yes, she is. I like Dulcy as a character but she always was a bit of an odd duck and somehow didn't fit in with the rest of the cast. However, I wanted her to go through an arc of sorts and it culminated with a heroic sacrifice.
