A few of you probably already know the we lost a companion recently. This piece is a small tribute to him.Finnley, wherever you are, may you have a neverending supply of junk food hidden under the blanket.
The piece is Super Sculpey painted with Delta Ceramcoat paints. The mirror it is based on is 3" wide at its largest point.

That's very sad. I have heard rats make fantastic pets my grand children want one! I have four dogs, one is very old I am not looking forward to losing him. Pets are more than family members. Love your sculpture!

It can be really hard when you can see that day coming, when they will have to move on without you. I definitely understand where you're coming from.

your rattie themed sculptures are wonderful and incredibly accurate to the species I must say. Wonderful work. I heard you lost Finnley from moon a while ago, not shortly after my boy passed away.

Thanks. With a live model in close proximity that's always willing to pose for a treat, studying their anatomy is pretty easy around here.
They are just never around long enough, it seems.
