It's beautiful. The hair is gorgeous. The bird needs a little work though; you might want to erase the lines between the wings and the body a little.

Lovely detail, and the bird is so cute! Sad to hear that he passed away, though.
The bird's body and wings are at an odd angle, though. Keep in mind that animals, like people, need guidlines as well to have them drawn straight. Also, the bird should cast a shadow on the shoulder, considering the angle of light, and the one feather that I see should be colored in, as well.

OK ... I love the colours used in general. It's a very cheerful, bright picture.
Eyes: There're two black lines which are not needed in my opinion since they spoiled the picture - the black horizontal one across the eye, and the vertical curved line outlining the white part of the eye.
You also need to shade the bandaged under the hair because the hair will cast a shadow on the bandage.
Lines: Look at his left elbow area. There are 2 lines which are overlapping slightly, and this needs to be avoided in my opinion.
Anatomy
Finally, since the main source of light is coming from behind, you might want to have a light border (have to be done carefully or it will ruin the entire pic) along the border of the characters (see This to see what I mean)
