Jeepers did this take forever. About a week, roughly. And it's all traditional, with Prismacolor Brush Tip Markers, and Prismacolor Premiere Double Ended Markers.

My W.I.T.C.H.- The Next Generation gals versus a pre- C.H.Y.K.N. group called L.I.G.H.T. (Fanfiction can be found here: [link] )

But I figured it's been ages since I've done anything W.I.T.C.H. related, so why not my gals duking it out with each other? I'm quite pleased with how this turned out... Might make this the cover for this particular arc of the story which has been on hiatus for quite sometime after reaching it. But drawing this in my modern style has sort of rekindled my inspiration for the story itself, ya know?

Every pose and placement of the characters has a meaning here. Can you see what it is?

Not all of the characters here are willing to fight, and not all are willing to rescue. There is tension between Wanda and Leila, while Ingrid does not want to fight Galena, who once helped her and the gang save Wanda's life from Phobos, before becoming possessed by Phobos' powers herself. Leila's will is quite strong, even while possessing the body of a student at the current W.I.T.C.H. girl's school, and said body happens to be a girl who considered herself Wanda's rival in nearly every way, especially when it came to boys. Not to mention, HuiLing, while not combative by nature but will fight if necessary, is not going to be pushed aside by the bossy, if not often rude Tuula Feng. Yet even with all the tension and rivalry between the two groups, the current W.I.T.C.H. team will still do what they can to save the resurrected and corrupted L.I.G.H.T. team before Phobos kills them off again after he has used them for the purpose they were summoned for.
