I love the way this piece makes me feel. It's sad yes, but moreover it's a sense of peering into the corners of a creative mind, and seeing all the imperfections that have gathered there in the darkness. Those flaws are the things that make us interesting. He seems to be trying to speak.

That and the style's great! I like the simplicity of it. It only adds to its strength.

He looks like he's in pain. Not that it really shows through exactly in his features. But the colors and technique that was used helps to convey a mood of solemn sadness. Really beautiful.

Awesome piece. I love the color choice for the monochromatic scale that you chose, as it really suits the horror legend of Poe. I also love how you brought a sense of unity and overall space by using the raven that uses a great sense of macabre as a border, and uses symbolism that all this darkness comes from Poe, but at the same time makes him his true image.
Excellent work, I hope to see more of it in the future
