Description Hybrid Profile for the 30 ft hybrid snake featured in the1999 science fiction film "King Cobra". The monstrous snake that serves as the central antagonist of the feature was created by splicing DNA of multiple snake species together into one highly deadly organism. Nicknamed "Seth" the animal posseses DNA from the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, the King Cobra, the Indian cobra and some unknown spitting cobra.

The large, solenoglyphous (foldable) fangs present in the hybrid result from the rattlesnake, as advanced fangs like this are only found in the Viperidae family. The front-facing opening of the hollow fang is a clear result of rinkhals DNA, allowing the hybrid to build up pressure in the fang and spray it outwards at attackers.

The vertical pupils and modified tail scales that result in a rattle are also the result of rattlesnake DNA.

The enormous length and large hood result from King cobra DNA.

The enormous 30 foot length may be the result of other means of genetic tampering.
